Dr. Phillips
Dr. Phillips became the proud owner of Today’s Dental Care in January of 2021. She grew up on a farm in southern Illinois about 40 minutes southeast of Collinsville. After she attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, she received her dental training from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton and graduated in 2009. She began her career working in public health and then in a private practice near Bethalto. Outside the office, Dr. Phillips spends her time with her husband, daughter, and son. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.
Dental Assistant
Kelly J
Kelly J started her dental career in high school. She was a part of Collinsville's Cooperative Education program and once she graduated, it became her full-time career. She has continued to be Today's Dental Care's well respected dental assistant since 1997. Kelly, a resident of Caseyville, IL, lives happily with her husband, Ron. They love to take themselves on trips and really any opportunity they have to travel. But most importantly, they enjoy spending time with their children and grandson as much as they can.
Office Coordinator
Kelly L
Kelly L has been apart of our office since 1991. She runs our main office, including helping our patients with all things insurance and treatment planning. Her #1 goal is to provide patients the ability to achieve their dental health goals and maximizing insurance benefits. She currently lives in Fairview Heights with her husband Chris and 2 beloved fur babies. She prioritizes family time with her children and granddaughters. She enjoys spending time out by the lake, boating, baking, and especially making memories with her loved ones.
Hygienist
Laura
Laura is a graduate from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Ozarks Technical Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in local anesthesia and uses other pain reducing options to help keep you comfortable during cleanings. Laura enjoys taking continuing education classes so she can keep her patients updated with the most current dental products and recommendations. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, cheering for the Razorbacks (Woo Pig Sooie!) and playing pickleball.
Hygienist
Emily
Emily started her dental career as a Dental Assistant in high school which lead her down the path of becoming a Dental Hygienist. She achieved her associate of applied science degree (AAS) from John A. Logan College located in Carterville, IL. Since then, she has been a proud dental hygienist and has found her passion helping others find their smile. When she's not at the office, she serves underserved children in a school based program. She spends all her other free time creating memories with her family, including her young daughter and her pets, traveling, and making a point to always try something new!
Hygienist
Alicia
Alicia has been in the field of dentistry for over 15 years. She attended Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL and became a certified dental assistant and registered dental hygienist in 2008. She also has a degree in healthcare management and is also a public health dental hygienist in Illinois. She takes the time to educate patients about the importance of oral health so they can also take care of it at home. Alicia also works at LCCC as a full-time dental instructor where she teaches and leads a variety of lectures and labs as well as in the clinic with the students seeing patients. In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, exercising, and officiating volleyball.
Receptionist
Jessica
Jessica has been a resident of Collinsville since she was born. She graduated from Collinsville High School. Jessica is currently a student at South Western Illinois College and plans to further her education in the medical field. She is a mom of three boys, and an aspiring dental hygienist. She is a huge animal lover who formerly worked at a veterinary hospital. She enjoys movies, music, organizing, and decorating. Most of all, she loves to get outdoors and make memories with her children at zoos, parks, pools, and farms.
Assistant
Hannah
Hannah began her journey at the office as a part of the Cooperative Education program at Triad Highschool. She worked with us half the day while attending school the other half. Now that she's graduated Highschool, she is a student at South Western Illinois College on a full scholarship to continue her education while still working at the office. She assists in just about every aspect of the office, but tends to stick around in the back. She likes to spend her free time going for hikes, volunteering by cleaning a local church and preschool, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with her friends and family.
